Last year’s Urbanscapes wouldn’t have been the same without the precocious June Marieezy’s indubitably outstanding performance, and now that the Philippines-born talent has teamed up with our favourite Frenchman — she’s going to be unstoppable! The two match like peanut butter and jam. June’s gentle vocals complement Fenton’s piano-driven grooves to perfection, the result of which has made ‘Fly’ something that we never imagined it could be when we first heard it. It starts innocently enough, but gets beefed up along the way with FKJ’s signature guitar tropes and evermore complex arrangements. Whatever it is, you’re gonna bounce with this one.
