We’re well familiar with HEYMUN‘s capacity for minimal composition since the change in her musical direction with single ‘Light‘. Now, the musician has released another decidedly sparse, ambient track called ‘Drift’ that comes accompanied with a video of a girl watching a twirling carousel in Paris. HEYMUN has also appended the song with a poem, reminiscing about a special moment, “This must be the place where we rewind, not that I would turn back time, but most evenings amongst the mist, I sit, breathe and replay this.” The tenderness in which she regards that secret memory of hers can be heard in the delicate keys and her half-whispers — it’s just like a tune from a music box.
