Dirge is the moniker of a Melbourne native who — going by his Soundcloud page— is just 18 years young. Having uploaded two remixes, here he is with his first original piece ‘Eden’. With a name like ‘dirge’ and a gothic artwork that has a similarly sombre connotation, we suggest that you put aside any assumptions you have of the track. ‘Eden’ is compacted with an almost guileless lustre that lifts your spirits high. But, the teen producer gives the song a breather from the constant surge of energy by lulling the track to a murmur, but only for an instant.
