While it is no longer Monday, Darren Ashley’s Monday Juice series has sadly come to an end with a final track called ‘Circles’. The track is bright and hopeful with Darren’s signature surging of cascading stop-go beats that follow his sweeping vocals. As the series served as a positive start to the week, providing a sonic pick-me-up in an attempt to help ward off the much dreaded and constructed ‘Monday blues’, the lyrics for ‘Circles’ are about surrendering control and accepting what may come. It’s also an apt ending to the series.
