Here’s a first release from VMPRMYTH this year; a remix of Daniel Johns’ new music which sees the Silverchair frontman venturing into this era’s genre du jour; alternative r’n’b. Johns’ latest single ‘Aerial Love‘ is unexpectedly breathtaking; his sultry vocals taking a slinky stroll around the pulsating drum beat. Wisely, VMPRMYTH doesn’t tamper much with Johns’ voice but he demonstrates his finesse by introducing more grit into the track. His version has whomping reverberations that swell the song, ultimately suspending John’s vocals in air.
