Twenty-year old Maryland native Chris McClenney has been pumping out tunes for under a year, but he’s already racked up over a million plays on Soundc\Cloud and found fans in producers such as FKJ and Reddi Rocket. With ‘Peace’, there’s a holistic approach to McClenney’s production value – he doesn’t bring too much, so as to embellish the track with too much clutter, but still does enough to showcase his sonic game. It’s chill, with simply stunning chordal runs and smooth melodies interlaced with more contemporary samples peeking in.
