Amane is Rinse‘s most recent signee, and this is the first single taken off his Lost Weekend EP. ‘For Even My Mother Won’t Find Me There’ is a collaborative effort between himself and singer Jamie Isaac, who’s currently more known for the work he’d done with King Krule. The track mirrors the cover art; downbeat in the way that it is both melancholy and glum. If Jamie Isaac’s listless singing hadn’t dampen your spirits, Amane’s sparse percussion and beats would only make matters more sullen, with the exception of the occasional sweet-sounding strum that slightly brightens the wan arrangements.
