Molek FMLimited Edt x New Balance M577BST Launch @ Limited Edt Chamber, Singapore
The launch of the much anticipated, child of the second collaboration between Singaporean sneaker store Limited Edt and New Balance, M577BST was a stellar hit, where collectors, enthusiasts and fans alike came out to support the world of sneaker freakery. The event took place on the 12th of November, just under a month before the worldwide release at the Limited Edt Chamber, Marina Bay Sands. The model was engineered and made in England, the theme of the launch was inspired by all things British, there were tea and cakes served and the Limited Edt staff donned gloves and white blazers.
The Singaporean release saw 180 pairs of these limited edition models available in all Limited Edt stores, bar the one at Peninsula. The very lucky and privileged few who managed to get their hands on a pair were personally escorted to the highly exclusive, very secretive Vault in the Limited Edt Chamber store, where they could choose their individually numbered kicks, each housed in a royal blue velvet shoebox.
At the launch, there were also dissected versions of the shoe; materials, swatches and prototypes of the M577BST to show the craftsmanship and quality of the materials that went into the engineering of the shoe. A celebration of the sneaker subculture which is rampantly making it’s way into the mainstream, the M577BST is a killer model, using full grain leather, crocodile skin and cracked chrome leather – who could ask for more?
The Limited Edt x New Balance M577BST launch took place on the 12th of November at the Limited Edt Chamber, Marina Bay Sands, Singapore. The worldwide release will take place on the 7th of December and will be available in Malaysia at Sole What? at the Gardens.
