The creative consultants behind the store have curated a holistic lifestyle for customers, turning their houses into homes. You’re greeted with a distinctive aroma as the baked goods, candles, soaps, and oils offered are blended nicely together. The homeliness is accentuated with classical music that continues to radiate warmth throughout the store.
You might find the organised chaos overwhelming, but curiosity for the quirky contents prevails. Tables and shelves are stacked to the ceiling that continues to hang some of their products. You will not know where to begin! Everything is available to make a house whole – from furniture, storage, lighting, and decoration to scents and even confections. Polished items are placed next to the rough, so the unique items can be seen with their vibrancy.
Stationery, clothing, and accessories are also offered to complete the concept of a lifestyle. As seen on the labels and tags, the brand is about spreading love as it promotes an appreciation for life. Loving this comfortable environment a bit too much? The Guardians of Style
The creative consultants of Lifeshop Atelier have grown from fashion and visual creative work to aesthetic development, art, interior, and exterior design. A decision was made to combine the two after noticing the endless amount of inspiration fashion provides to interior design. Their admiration for shapes and the unrefined can be seen in the zany offerings that still remain modern, providing solutions and ideas to their customers for a hearty home.
What were you doing prior to operating Lifeshop Atelier?
We were in fashion and visual creative work.
How did you come up with the concept to combine the two?
We like vintage, handcrafted and fun stuff, but quality is a priority, of course. The materials that we source must be in their rawest forms, whether pure cotton or linen, or solid wood. We will bring back whatever we like, and whichever can gel with our concept – as long as those values are present.
Are the fashion designs inspired by the interior designs or vice versa?
Interior design trends have been inspired by fashion for decades, and why not? The subtle curves, sharp lines, seemingly unlimited fabric patterns, and unique textiles used in runway fashion designs create an immense pallet of opportunity. The effortless mix of art and fashion are apparent.
What kind of experience do you want to provide your customers with?
We provide solutions and ideas to our customers’ needs.
How would you describe the current look of the store?
We are in Early Spring Feast.
How often do you change the theme?
Four seasons in a year.
What kind of feel do you want to bring into people’s homes?
Lifeshop Atelier is a creative consultant focussing on aesthetic development, art, interior and exterior design. Our approach to interior is artisanal and holistic. We create spaces which convey a quiet yet dramatic atmosphere where the stark and modern are contrasted against rare antique finds and exquisite curiosities. Each project is developed with intrinsic respect for frames and character. From showrooms, boutiques, restaurants to hotels in Malaysia, Lifeshop Atelier offers unique and limited edition pieces from a carefully curated edit of anonymous designers and artists. Set on a monochrome backdrop, mixed with strong and modern cultural influences, Lifeshop Atelier’s peaceful and spellbinding interiors make striking use of light and shadow – underscoring our attention to surfaces and scale. With this serene ambience, Lifeshop’s spaces offer a truly seldom experience rooted in a timeless and beautifully honest simplicity.

The five must have elements are lighting, textile, wood, greens, colours.
What is one thing every house needs?
Our dramatic chandelier. Rustic in style, simple in form and grandly sized, our hand-forged chandelier has an authentic style, making an elegant statement. Drawing inspiration from early 20th century industrial fixtures, it’s either built from stout angle iron or hard wood.
Why do you think aromatic oils are important?
The best way to ensure that your home is fragrant is to make good use of the aromatic oils. However, there are several other ways to enjoy ambience in the making, as you are about to discover.
