Levi’s 501 Live Unbuttoned Workshop
Attending a workshop on a Saturday lunch time isn’t the ideal thing. To attend a workshop at that time is like being in school and attending a tuition class. Not sure how I managed but I got to the very cosy Wasp Studio on time for Levi’s 501 Live Unbuttoned Workshop, where they unveil the finalists of the “I’m A Musician” contest which consists of Ezra Mei-En Chua, Faith Ding Pei Wei, Kenneth Lim Ken-Wae and Leang Chan Nung. Lunch was also served while speakers consisting of Frank Ong (Head of Performance, International College of Music Malaysia), Rithan (Deja Voodoo Spells), Paul Morrison (Producer, Wasp Studio) and Greg Henderson (Independent Producer) were in hand to talk to the finalists. They were definitely in good hands of the bests in the industry.
This is Rithan of Deja Voodoo giving a more entertaining presentation.
A video of him talking about guitar.

This is the famous Paul Morrison giving us the 411 on the industry and how sound works in television and such.
The participants will be playing their songs at the Levi’s 501 Launch Party on August 23rd at Ruums where the guests will be able to vote. Winner from this contest will have a chance to walk away with RM2000, Levi’s vouchers, Levi’s watch, their composition to be featured in Levi’s compilation album and advance music production course. Not bad at all.
Time to unbutton some fresh talents.
