Leica M-D
The Leica M-D is the latest addition to the Leica M-Generation cameras, and it’s also the first serial production model of the M family that’s produced without a monitor screen. The location of where the screen should be is replaced by an ISO sensitivity setting dial.
The Leica M-D’s technical features are based on those of the Leica M (Typ 262), where it has a high resolution CMOS full-frame sensor that’s specially for rangefinder photography. The model also features a 24-megapixel resolution that allows for clarity of image, and an almost inaudible shutter that ensures shooting stealthily if and when a photographer wants to be inconspicuous.
The Leica M-D is priced at RM26,550 (GST included) and will be available at the end of May at Leica Store, Avenue K and all authorised dealers. More details on the camera here.
