Love her or hate her she’s still in your face. And head. After two years of dealing with depression, the British grime rapper-ess hits us back with ‘Jigsaw’. For the curious, some tracks such as ‘So Human’ and ‘Jigsaw’ tell the tale of Sovereign’s life after missing from the radar. Electronic instruments and hardcore lyrics are fundamental while weird beats keep your attention sharp and feet moving. With more punchy lines, her own label and a renewed spirit, we just hope this album makes enough to pay her rent.
