Barely a year old, Krookz has already created serious waves amongst the fashion conscious this side of the South China Sea. Owners Nizam and DJ Biggie know the way to the heart of even the toughest skater bro out there.
Ever the pioneering duo, Krookz is the first store in KL to carry renowned Thai skate label Preduce, stocking an extensive range of skateboards and apparel. They also boast the debut introduction of Diamond Supply Co. to KL. Sounds familiar? The culprits behind the Nike Dunk Tiffany’s phenomenon, guilty as charged. Besides that, Krookz is also the exclusive retailer of authentic New Era hats, SBTG’s date Generals Collection specially designed by Mark Ong and their most recent addition Alphanumeric, is set to roll wheels their way.
They also carry an eye-popping array of Vans footwear, comprising classics, old skools and skate-his in almost every hue you can think of. Brixton hats line the shelves of the store, sure to rouse even the most jaded of hat enthusiasts. Krookz is also currently endorsing local skate legend Hairul Zain, better known as Kechik.
Apart from that, the store also carries local skateboard wheels producer Glam Wheels and their exclusive designs. With new stock brought in promptly every month, the store caters to the growing demand for classic shoes that has been plaguing the youth of KL. The perfect finishing touches to their skinny designer denims.
Despite having much on their plate, the Krookz crew has not bitten off more than they can chew, with continuous plans to expand, including bringing in custom-designed tees and decks, opening a second store in 1-Utama next year, and collaborations with other skate stores to host big-time skating events. With comparisons drawn to big name skate and apparel store Union in the US, likewise Krookz doesn’t exclusively stock urban streetwear, bringing in products for skate lovers as well. So if exclusivity appeals to you, you know just where to get your fix at.
