Almost 3 years after the rock-opera of American Idiot, Green Day hits us with a brand new album. 21st Century Breakdown will be released worldwide on 15 May 2009. For those who can’t wait, tune-in to MTV tomorrow (25 April) at 12noon for the premiere of the album’s 1st single ‘Know Your Enemy’.

21st Century Breakdown is said to be a concept album that is divided into 3 chapters – Heroes & Cons, Charlatans and Saints, Horseshoes and Handgrenades – with recurring characters from American Idiot such as St Jimmy and Whatsername.

Can the boys from Berkeley, California make another epic comeback without the presence of a certain Bush to bitch against?
