Klang Man Survives Being Shot In Neck And Arm By Wife’s Alleged Scam Victim
Yesterday (7 Dec), a 46-year-old technician from Klang survived an attempt on his life after being shot in the neck and arm by an unknown assailant.
The incident took place in front of the victim’s house at Jalan Limau Kasturi in Taman Wangi, Klang and was reported to authorities by his wife at 8.55am.
Reports allege that the victim was just about to leave for work at the time of the shooting.
South Klang OCPD Cha Hoong Fong (pictured above) stated that the perpetrator, believed to be a local man, was riding a black motorcycle and wore a bike helmet with a heavily tinted visor.
Further investigations revealed that the victim was shot 3 times with 2 different guns according to Cha.
Cha mentioned that the victim was brought to Hospital Tengku Ampuan Rahimah for treatment where an x-ray showed what is suspected to be a bullet, lodged in the man’s right arm.
Additionally, the forensics team were able to uncover two metal objects from the scene, believed to be bullet casings.
As for the motive of the shooting, Cha explained, “The case was believed to have been committed by an individual who held a grudge against the victim’s wife who had allegedly cheated him of his investments.”
Currently, the incident is being investigated under Section 307 of the Penal Code for attempted murder.
