The MySejahtera App is facing yet another setback. This time, it involves the issuance of Covid-19 digital vaccination certificates.

With many fully vaccinated individuals still awaiting their certificates, Health Minister Khairy Jamaluddin has given the MySejahtera app team one week to resolve all problems related to the app especially when it comes to digital certificates.

In the meantime, vaccinated individuals with no digital certificate can present their proof of being fully vaccinated using their physical cards.

Whereas, individuals vaccinated under the Selangor government Selvax programme can opt to use their certificates issued in the Selangkah App.

According to FMT, other modifications for MySejahtera that the ministry is looking into include figuring out and managing a “virtual way” for individuals who have been vaccinated overseas to update their vaccination status without having to travel to the nearest district health office.

As of now, Khairy urges the public to be patient.
