Kanye’s new single: Good song or just dramatic?

Besides releasing a new song with some pretty sick beats and good ol’ elements of hip hop (no sign of auto tune biznass) to it, his lyrics has gotten this song talked about and hyped more than it should be but that’s how things sell, right?

One, the title, ‘Theraflu’. It’s medication to cure colds. “Way too cold, I promise you’ll need some Theraflu.” He’s referring to emotions and not health, btw. Is this song meant to cure people with cold feelings? Hmm.. a theory..

Second, if you’ve been keeping up to date with who’s dating who, you’d know that West is dating TV drama ditz, Kim Kardashian. And he proclaims his love to her in this song! “And the whole industry wanna f**k yo’ old chick, only nigga I got respect for is Wiz and I’ll admit, I fell in love with Kim, ‘round the same time she had fell in love wit’ him, well, that’s cool, baby girl, do ya thing, lucky I ain’t have Jay drop ‘im from the team…” Some intense lyrics he’s got goin’ on.

Jay-Z owns a percentage of the team Kris Humphries (a.k.a Kim K’s soon-to-be ex husband) plays for.. so you get the point of the lyrics now. Overall, (without the drama) it’s a good song to check out.
