Jin Hackman: “To be completely original and to come up with stuff that no one has ever thought of — that’s almost impossible.”
For Levi’s Chinese New Year campaign this year — ‘New Year, My Way‘ — the denim brand asked online magazine and creative agency Streething to direct a video featuring local musicians describing how they celebrate this occasion. Aside from highlighting each of their roles for CNY, Streething spoke to Jin Hackman separately to ask him what his plans for this year are and what 2016 meant to him. Jin’s defining moments of 2016 were being able to bring down one of his favourite rappers — Homeboy Sandman — to KL, hosting Raising the Bar Festival for the second time, and launching his own record label.
