Rapper and humanitarian Jaden Smith is taking his activism a step further by launching a vegan restaurant aimed at feeding Los Angeles’ homeless community.
The idea builds on his earlier “I Love You” food truck project, which he introduced on his 21st birthday, and continues his mission of providing free, plant-based meals to those in need, particularly in the Skid Row area.
Speaking about the concept, Smith explained that the space is primarily meant for the homeless to eat at no cost.
Others are welcome too, but there’s a catch: paying customers will be expected to contribute more than the price of their meal, effectively covering the cost for someone else.

This move adds to a growing list of his philanthropic efforts.
Beyond music and acting, Smith is behind JUST Water and has been involved in initiatives like the Water Box project under 501CTHREE.org, which works to bring clean drinking water to underserved communities.
His company previously installed a filtration system in Flint, where residents have struggled with unsafe water for years.
