Imagine a world of industrial revolution era robots disguised as insects. That’s the workings of the mind of designer Mike Libby who has created this amazing collection of sculptures called ‘Insect Lab’. This whole range of sculptures customizes real insect specimens with antique watch parts and other technological components.
A Rhode Island School of Design graduate, Mike has seen his work exhibited throughout US and Canada in museums and universities. It took him 8 years to develop and perfect the Insect Lab collection which includes a whole variety of insects ranging from grasshoppers to butterflies.
