FIRST LOOK: Brandon Cronenberg’s ‘Infinity Pool’ Starring Alexander Skarsgård and Mia Goth To Premiere At Sundance
Canadian director and screenwriter, Brandon Cronenberg, is back with a new sci-fi, horror, and mystery film that’s due for release next year. Infinity Pool will be starring Alexander Skarsgård and Mia Goth.
With the announcement of next year’s Sundance Film Festival lineup, the first images of this upcoming disturbing horror film has been released. Check it out below.
From what we know, Infinity Pool is the story of young and rich couple, James and Em, as they go on an all-inclusive beach vacation on the fictitious island of La Tolqa. A deadly accident reveals the resort’s warped subculture of hedonistic tourism, reckless violence, and strange horrors.
Infinity Pool will be premiering at Sundance Film Festival in January 2023.
For those not too familiar with the horror genre, Cronenberg is well known for his science-fiction horror films such as Antiviral, Possessor, and Please Speak Continuously and Describe Your Experiences as They Come to You.
Meanwhile, Skarsgård gained widespread recognition for his role in the films Melancholia, Battleship, The Legend of Tarzan, and the drama series Big Little Lies.
Goth recently became the new talk of the town after her roles in the ongoing horror film franchise X and as Pearl in Pearl: An X-traordinary Origin Story.
Maybe it’s time to binge watch horror films during these upcoming holidays…
