The sixth edition of Laundry’s Indie Mix Up will see an array of performers from disparate genres. There’s instrumental post-rock band mutesite, acoustic songstress Amrita Soon, metalcore by way of Fist of Pain, and coming all the way from Penang, it’s Ocean of Fire, who have described their sound as “instrumental happy metal”. With the night’s musicians generally leaning towards metal, it should be an unsettling, fun aural experience.
