There’s nothing more Malaysian than the all-out war that comes during our elections, with politcal parties duking it out to get the right amount of votes in. If you’ve ever wanted to take part in the chaos, here’s a new game for you.

‘I Have The Numbers’ is an all-new card game of quick math, trickery, and deception centred around a typical Malaysian election. Players are tasked with getting enough seats and rallying as many politicians as they can to their side to win the in-game election.

The game was created by Ernest Ng, who is the Malaysian artist behind the well-known comic series Bro, Don’t Like That La, Bro and Covidball Z, and Bryan Ooi, a game designer from Ziyang Productions.

This card game is Ernest Ng’s first foray into the tabletop gaming scene and promises to entertain players with its satirical take on real-life politicians. The gameplay is infused with themes that resonate with the nature of Malaysian politics.

Players will step into the shoes of aspiring politicians, navigating a super simplified version of twists and turns of Malaysian politics with a humorous spin. The game is set to captivate both avid gamers and political enthusiasts alike, offering a local blend of strategy and satire.

This card game can be played by 3 to 6 players and each game session spans about 10 to 15 minutes. Players will have to prove their political prowess by being quick and cunning. They can win seats by telling the truth or lying their way through, as long as they don’t get caught.

The game also lets players experience the lighter side of Malaysian politics through cleverly crafted cards that poke fun at the quirks and idiosyncrasies of real-life politicians.

The local charm of Malaysia’s political landscape is brought to life through the game’s artwork, featuring parody versions of iconic Malaysian personalities together with cultural and cheeky political references.

If you’re looking to join in on the political fun, ‘I Have the Numbers’ is now available on Shopee.
