Shaking the tree of the leafy suburban neighbourhood of TTDI is new club on the block HQnine. Sister establishment to the already swinging Bamboo9 in terms of design, HQnine, according to the press release, takes a “Machiavellian swing with a neo-classic mash up.” Wokay then…

We don’t know what that means, but we do know that Happy Hours are from 6pm to 10pm and that HQnine is open every day bar Sunday. For the thirsty clubber, it also has 2 bars – the Tiger Bar and the Marble Island Bar, which is centrally located for easy access.

The venue’s spacious environment is further enhanced with cool-blue LED lighting, and the VIP room, which has a capacity for 15 and is kitted out with 4 LCD screens rotating the latest music videos, overlooking the dancefloor and DJ booth.

Besides guest DJs, residents Fresh, Chin and Jerrica make full use of the venue’s high end NEXO sound system. Expect r ‘n’ b, hip hop and house on weekdays, and electro and dance music on weekends.
