Put away the marketing gimmick of alco promos and the promise of girls dancing on podiums. If you want some good fun with friends, then head down to House This!? for a night of untainted dance music. Organised by DJ Blink, the opportunity was given to JeeHoe and Davern Koh aka Hypeembeats to headline a monthly Saturday night at Barsonic, Zouk. These 2 DJs play everything from disco to dirty house, electro and ‘big room’ music to mainstream indie and even local tracks too!

Reveals Davern of the night, “The main factor about JeeHoe and I is that we have a huge contrast in terms of interest in music genres, and that is what makes House This!? special. I play more of Dutch house like Chuckie and Laidback Luke whereas JeeHoe is more into the deep stuff in techno and disco.” Owing to this exciting playlist, House This!?’s 2nd gig was a sure hit. “The night somehow caught wind and the turnout was massive,” says Davern. But Hypeembeats suspect that it was due to LapSap, Goldfish and his whole Goldnation crew for their support. These days, crowds just turn up even without them having to publicise the night, lucky boys! Expect House This!? to take over a bigger space and invade other countries too. JUICE will be waiting in the wings!
