Molek FMHouse Is In The House
As the sounds of techno and electro reverberate through the clubs, house is fighting back. It’s all heating up at the super deluxe Sultan Lounge. Gregoire Pagnoux is the club’s most recent addition to an already solid line up of residents, which consists of DJs Donovan, Shazan Z and Azran. And now they’re bringing out the big guns.
Lined up for March is US’ JT Donaldson, last in Malaysia when Ohm was still in existence – it seems like a lifetime ago. On the decks on March 28, this Chicago-based upstart has etched a name for himself for producing and playing deep, soulful house music.
Then, while a date has yet to be confirmed, April will see tech house maestro Stacy Pullen step behind the golden cloud. A Detroit legend and cohort of Derrick May, anyone who knows their house music history or follows the Detroit techno scene will want to be there for this.
