Mutiara Damansara may be well known for The Curve and IKEA, but herein also lies an independent music and art venue dedicated to bringing the labours of local artists to the limelight. The Homegrown Space is part of an on-going project to encourage undiscovered and budding talent to join the Homegrown movement to promote and grow the local art scene.

As a platform for independent artists, Homegrown Space makes it incredibly easy and accessible for organisers to set up events – no red tape here!  It is a dedicated space for artists. Floors are open to local talent interested in showcasing their work – and you’re just as likely to see folk star Yuna performing here as you are to see prog metal band Nao.

CLIENTELE Patrons of live music of all genres, art exhibitions, poetry recitals, clinics, fashion shows or any forms of urban arts.

FOOD & DRINK No F & B here.

MUSIC POLICY Open to anything and everything under the sun. To organise events, contact Joshua/Sheila at [email protected] or [email protected] and let them know what you plan to do, set your date and presto, it’s SHOW TIME!

ARTS POLICY Showcasing anything and everything under the sun from homemade DIY crafts to high brow art and theater.

DOOR POLICY Free entrance for homegrown events! Organisers of private events may charge a cover.

OPEN Sat-Sun: 1pm-7pm

DRESS CODE Come as you are.

PARKING RM2 for the 1st 3 hours and RM1 with each subsequent hour at Wisma Bentley Music.

SMOKING POLICY No smoking allowed inside the venue.
