Please welcome MTV’s new funarchist, an intriguing online personality known as Cherry Girl. According to her website, “MTV discovered Cherry Girl in February 2009 after months of searching for the originator of a series of events around the globe. The familiar pattern of events eventually led back to her, a trail of positive anarchy often marked with her distinctive silhouette.”

Part of the MTV Switch initiative, a global multi-platform campaign designed to promote environmentally-friendly lifestyles, Cherry Girl’s introduction coincides with Earth Day and comes in the form of a public service announcement done by Ridley Scott Associates.

Every month, Cherry Girl will be given a challenge to create mischief with a positive twist. JUICE checked out her blog which already details her first adventure and really got into it. The best thing is, we can all learn how to spread a little love from her like how she did on the bus. Go, Cherry Girl go!
