In collaboration with TREC KL’s A Sunday Affair (ASA), Heineken Pres. JUICE Day Out expands the monthly outdoor concert-market to two stages; one with live bands, the other a DJ-centric dancefloor you’ve come to associate us with from our previous anniversaries. With a curation wholly selected by yours truly, the lineup includes Edwin Raj’s supergroup TOKO KILAT, Britrock acolytes Bittersweet, math rockers Dirgahayu, multihyphenate electronic act Shelhiel, folky stoner rockers Jaggfuzzbeats, Ta-ku acolyte Emir Hermono (playing a live set for the first time), and ambient meister Dae Kim on the ASA x JUICE Stage. Then, the Green Stage sees Singapore-based all-female collective ATTAGIRL!, the curators of ASA themselves, LapSap, the DIY, punk af young’uns of HOAX Vision, alternative club selectors Indiego & Co., the trap beats of JHin along with cohort Jin Hackman, and finally, newbie (but no less exciting) producer Alextbh. It doesn’t stop there, we’ve also handpicked artisanal goods, clothing brands, and miscellaneous shops that we’ve covered before as vendors for the market – not to mention the rows of restaurants and bars already existing on the stretch, who will definitely have something a little special on that day for punters. And yes, Heineken is sponsoring our half of the event; you know what that entails.
