Health Ministry Predicts Malaysia’s COVID-19 Cases Will Rise Up to 8,000 Daily by May
Malaysia has seen a rise in new COVID-19 cases. Just today, the Health Ministry (KKM) reported a staggering number of 3,027 new cases with 8 deaths, the highest number of new cases in a day so far.
Now, Health Ministry director-general Dr Noor Hisham has posted on his Twitter that based on the forecast cases and observed cases, there is a high chance that we could see the numbers go up to 8,000 daily by May 2021.

Former Minister of Health Dr Dzulkefly Ahmad also posted an open letter to Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin on his Twitter, sharing his thoughts on the COVID-19 situation in Malaysia, including some actions needed to prevent the 3rd wave from happening.
