Smack in the middle of SS15 lies Grafa, every fixed gear enthusiast’s new favourite hangout. A fixed gear bicycle cafe cum design studio, Grafa is the first of its kind in Malaysia lending its services while selling everything an enthusiast would need while their café serves the best coconut jelly ever – among other things, of course.

The weather was perfect for a day outdoors and for a Grafa BBQ, inside the café/shop Grafa was screening new videos from local fixed gear group RatsKL, as well as Revoked: New York Movie and Bootleg Sessions 4. Outdoors, everyone gathered to watch and participate in the fixed gear trick contests like Fakie Circles, longest track stand, and the highest bunny hop where the bar gets raised higher as they progress to the next level.

It was great that fixed gear fans and friends from as far as Singapore came down to show their support to Grafa owners Irman Hilmi and Fadli Hj. Rosli, whom have been prominent supporters of the fixed gear movement in Malaysia. Whether you are fans of the fixed gear bike craze or not, Grafa is a promising place nonetheless that’s worth a visit. Congrats Grafa!
