With eight studio albums to date, alternative indie band Death Cab for Cutie has been making music for the emotionally-wounded soul since 1998, effectively making them a proto-hipster favourite. And now, they are finally making their way to Kuala Lumpur next year thanks to the Good Vibes folks. The band is praised for their use of unorthodox instruments for their album production such as glockenspiels, organs, flutes, and whatever vocalist Benjamin Gibbard can get his hands on, as well as for his heart-wrenching-yet-comforting lyrics. Tickets will sell faster than you can say the band’s name, so it’s best not to sleep on it — tickets for phase one goes on sale this Friday 9 October ’15 via BoxTix Asia.
