Due to the ongoing pandemic the world is experiencing now, Good Vibes has announced the cancellation of this year’s edition. It was slated to run from 14, 15 and 16 August 2020 at The Ranch, Genting Highlands.
In a statement posted on Twitter, Good Vibes said that after following closely with the development of the situation and consulting with all its relevant stakeholders, they have decided that it’s no longer viable to run the show.
“The health and safety of all our attendees, artists, partners, vendors, crews and everyone working on the festival will always be our top priority,” it said in a statement.
“In spite of this huge setback, we are staying positive and are focusing on coming back even better next year. In the meantime, we hope everyone is staying home and staying safe – we will get through this together,” the statement continued.
This is something unavoidable, but Good Vibes said that it will return in 2021 better and stronger. We’re counting on that! And to all of you concertgoers out there craving for loud, live music… we feel you!
