Kuala Lumpur is about to be overrun with sequins, skateboards, and serious girl energy.

‘Girls’ Day Out’ is landing at Heritage Valley on 27 and 28 September with two days of fashion, music, and mayhem that promise to be the most Instagram-worthy weekend of the year. Entry is free, so your only investment is time and how good your outfit looks in pictures.

The festival is joining forces with Girl’s Girl, that one store in the heart of the city that feels less like retail and more like a pilgrimage. Think four entire floors of a fashion-forward fever dream where you can shop like you are starring in your own music video.

All-female DJs will be commanding the decks with sets that channel the kind of reckless energy only found on a scratched CD in a knockoff Hello Kitty player. Expect everything from nostalgic throwbacks to futuristic beats, all tied together with a crowd that knows how to move.
