To the “Mod Motors” out there, JUICE reckons we might have found the car just for you – the new Mini Cabriolet.
JUICE definitely loves anything that comes with a retro vibe. So when BMW unveiled the MINI Cabriolet last month, it made out heads soft and our legs weak – we might have fallen in love with a car!
If Mini’s of old were made for Lilliputian lovers of the open road, the Mini Cabriolet can carry 4 people and the rear-seat backrests can be folded individually to make more space between the luggage and passenger compartment. 660l litres or 23.10 cu ft. of luggage capacity, that’s big enough to hide stowaways….
There are several new features with the latest model that covers both ecstatic and safety aspects. Like the slight expansion of the side windows and retractable rollbar designed to give the driver better visibility, higher standard of both performance and fuel economy, blah blah blah…. No, we don’t understand the half of it, but it sounds like they have a lot covered. What we do get is the entertainment system – a standard feature that includes a CD player and 6 loudspeakers. Say what? I can’t hear you above my sound system! You can also fit a navigation system and an Apple iPod. Nice!
But that’s nothing compared to its convertible feature. Ah, the wind in our hair, the sun on our face, the sense of freedom, the lust filled open mouthed stares of the envious…. Haha, suck on this people! The new MINI Cabriolet also comes with an the optional Always-Open Timer that tells you how long you’ve spent driving with the soft top down. Not like we need any more encouragement to enjoy the thrills of great open-air motoring.
