Get Grab to Pick Up Your Unwanted Garments and Dispose of Them Responsibly

Following the huge success of Grab and H&M’s collaborative efforts last year, both brands have teamed up for the second time to collect unwanted garments from residents in the Klang Valley, Penang, and Johor Bahru as part of its #CleanOutYourCloset campaign.

H&M has been consistent with its initiative to pick up old and torn clothes, which are to be recycled responsibly, as this action alone plays a vital role in the reduction of garments that end up in landfills. To be part of the movement, here’s what you need to know:

  1. The pick-ups will start from Friday 18 August ’17 to Sunday 20 August ’17, from 11am to 3pm on each day.
  2. H&M accepts all textiles including old socks, towels, and apparels with holes as “nothing is too torn, worn, or used for a second life.”
  3. Participants will be rewarded with one 15% voucher for every bag they hand over. Each person is entitled a maximum of 10 vouchers a day.
  4. To book this particular pick-up, Grab will launch a specific icon on its app for customers to use. It’s important to note that these cars will only be responsible for picking up clothes, if you’d like a ride to another destination, you’ll have to book another car.

Do your part for the environment. Download the Grab app via the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. and dispose of your unwanted garments responsibly. For more updates, follow the #hmmalaysia hashtag or @grabMY.
