Gatsby’s Styling Dance champion is back. Last year’s event was a massive success and this year, the grooming brand for men is back to hunt for the best dancers across Asia. This is open to all solo or group dancers with maximum of 3 members only. Download music, record a 1 minute styling dance and upload. It’s that easy to be on your way to an all expense paid trip to the Asian Grand Finals in Tokyo!

Gatsby created the term ‘Styling Dance’ from Gatsby’s ‘hair and fashion styling’ and ‘street dance’  and hpe to see street dance with an interpretation of hip hop, breakdancing and popping and locking moves. So get free and let loose!

The search is being held in 7 countries, namely Hong Kong, Korea, Taiwan, Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia and Japan, where the finals will be held on 27 February 2010. Japan’s celebrity dancer Charisma Kantaro will be making a guest appearance too!

Recruitment started beginning October 5 and will go on until December 6 with an estimated 50 dance teams to participate. Only 30 will be shortlisted by the judges to be featured on the website. 5 finalists will then battle it out in January at the Malaysian finals. So get grindin’!
