French Language Week: Photo Contest

Each year the language of love is celebrated worldwide. This year marks the 16th edition of French Language Week in Malaysia, held from the 20th to 27th March 2011. In celebration of all things French, numerous events have been planned throughout the entire week. One of the main events to look forward to is the photo contest to win trips to French-speaking countries. Yes, you got that right! Win a trip to France, Switzerland, Mauritius or Egypt by participating in Word’n Pic Photo contest. Ooh la la!

All you have to do is pick a word and take a photo and  you might be flying off to the holiday of your dreams soon! For those under 18, enter Word’n Pic Teen and stand a chance to win an iPod. Those taking French-classes are also invited to take part in the photo contest Word’n Pic Schools! There are many prizes to be won so hurry up and send in your entries. Closing date is on 25 February 2011.

Other events include concerts, screening of short movies, exhibitions, talks, guided tour in French at Muzium Negara and a gastronomy buffet which will be held at various locations around Kuala Lumpur. So come and discover French language through art, music, food and a whole lot more.
