French designer Steph Cop teams up with Feiyue again to collaborate on a new pair of shoes. He was flown in to KL for an exhibition at Zinc Art Space last Thursday night. The new 10N28E was inspired by Steph Cop’s Aro toy character, which accompanies each pair of the limited edition kicks. We made our way to Bangsar right after work for the exhibition, that was also recently held in Singapore too.
The space was pretty bare with quite a small amount of Feiyue shoes displayed, but the cocktails kept everyone happy. LapSap’s XU played DJ for the night and he even rocked out Duck Sauce’s ‘Barbra Streisand’, but since it was an indoor art exhibition, everyone was pretty subdued and busy catching up with friends instead. It was a far cry from the event they had in Singapore, but it was still a success nevertheless.
We were there until the end and caught up with our peeps Joyce Wong aka KinkyBlueFairy, Chooee from Streething, Edwin and Nelson from Sole What?, Sueann Chong from Tongue in Chic, Jeremy Lim from Zouk, Didjital from Bass Agents, Daryl Goh from Twilight Actiongirl, hip hop’s finest DJ Nesh and a whole lot more. How can one resist good nights like these where you get to meet an international designer such as Steph Cop, peep at sweet kicks, good company and delicious drinks under one roof.
