After more than a decade away, Evanescence are finally making their return to Malaysia and they are not easing back in quietly.
Kuala Lumpur has been chosen as the only Southeast Asian stop on their upcoming run, with the band set to take over National Hockey Stadium Bukit Jalil on 28 November 2026.
It’s been 14 years since the band last played here, and that absence has only sharpened the anticipation. For fans across the region, this is not just another tour date, but the one chance to catch them without boarding a plane.
Fronted by Amy Lee, Evanescence built their legacy on a sound that refuses to sit still, blending gothic textures, alt-rock weight, and orchestral drama into something unmistakably theirs.
Tracks like ‘Bring Me To Life’ and ‘My Immortal’ still hit with the same emotional force they did in the early 2000s, which explains why their audience now spans both longtime listeners and a newer generation discovering them through streaming and TikTok edits.
Timing-wise, Kuala Lumpur is catching them at an interesting moment. The band has already begun rolling out new material, with a fresh album slated for release in June 2026. That makes this show one of the first chances in the region to hear those songs in a live setting!

Their return also says something about KL’s growing pull on the touring circuit.
The show is being handled by Hello Universe, the same promoter behind coveted large-scale international bookings. Expect full production, the kind that leans into Evanescence’s theatrical instincts with layered visuals, heavy atmospherics, and that signature wall of sound.
Tickets go on sale 8 May 2026 at 10 a.m. via GoLive Asia, and if history is anything to go by, hesitation is not your friend here. A single Southeast Asian date, a 14-year gap, and a fanbase that has only grown louder online is the kind of combination that tends to disappear fast.
For a band whose music has always lived somewhere between catharsis and spectacle, Kuala Lumpur is about to get both in one night!
