Etsy – as most folks know – is an online marketplace to sell handmade goods; anything from jewellery to clothing to furniture can be found on the website for relatively affordable prices. Since Etsy Malaysia launched sometime in 2010, it’s hosted an annual craft party that aims to have interested participants try their hands at creating their own products. This year, the aim is to create tapestry using Malaysian culture as one of its main sources of inspiration — it helps that we have so many to choose from. To ensure that everyone is given equal amount of attention and guidance in creating something they’d be proud to drape on their own walls, Etsy Malaysia has split this party into three sessions.
