We’re not gonna lie, this collaboration between Epitome — a highly curated sneakers and accessories shop — and Saucony excites us quite a bit. Epitome has worked with the sneaker brand to put their own spin on the Shadow 5000, taking major inspiration from the towering ‘Big Fish’ statue that’s located directly across from Epitome’s store front. The Middle Eastern superstition that is attached to the landmark provides the major design appeal of the sneaker, such as the leather fish scale accents at the toe cap and rear, along with the eye of conscience and the hamsa located at the tongue to lead the wearer to a more — of course — righteous and enlightened path. Furthermore, all these details are imprinted onto the premium turquoise pig suede that has pops of gold detailing to fully showcase that virtuous glow.
