You know you have made it real big when stars like Elijah Wood and Garbage’s Shirley Manson star in a commercial to your song. That’s exactly what happened to our Malaysian sensation Zee Avi! As if this Sarawakian hasn’t done enough, her song is now featured in international eyewear brand Oliver peoples for their 2010 Campaign. Nice!

We immediately had to check it out after we saw her tweet. The video featuring Zee’s ‘Me & You’ as the soundtrack is produced by renowned photographer and director Autumn De Wilde, whose credits include Vanity Fair, W, Elle, Rolling Stones and V Magazine, as well as artists such as Beck, The White Stripes and fashion designer Rodarte. This Oliver campaign features Shirley Manson as Ginger and Elijah Wood as Fred. So proud to hear Zee Avi’s voice on this video. Go go Zee!
