This Christmas we wished for world peace. Well we must be saints cause our pressie has comes early. I Love Electro KL: Electro Vibes is a night of electrifying music from Philippines, Indonesia and Malaysia. DJ AWAD of Malaysia, DJ Hitz aka Hitesh of Indonesia and DJ Junior of Philippines represent. They come together and are united by the sounds of Electro at RAW this coming Saturday 12 December.

DJ AWAD majored in audio engineering and is one half of Electro Fungus. You may have heard Electro Fungus’ first single ‘Sisa Sisa’ but solo speaking AWAD has dropped it from Zouk to Boiler Room. His sets have been described as a blend of electro, progressive, tribal, Jungle and house music and if that don’t slay you his secret weapon – his synthesizer – will.

Having racked up gigs on both sides of the Straits, Indonesia’s DJ Hiyz aka Hitesh has gone from spinning house music to dishing out tech house, minimal and dirty house.  His partner in crime on Saturday, DJ Junior of Philippines has clocked up 13 years in the industry wih no signs of stopping yet. While his repetoire is diverse and even takes in retro sounds, his passion is all electronic. If you’re into the pounding sounds of tribal music then it’s time to go native!
