It’s a collaboration that has come a long way from the ‘Songs from Scratch’ project that first teamed Shlohmo and Jeremih up. ‘Bo Peep’ was something that evidently worked, with the r’n’b hotshot’s silky falsetto effortlessly complementing Shlohmo’s lo-fi laidback sounds – and left fans of both the artistes imploring them to take it further, with good reason. After some dead air, the duo let ‘No More’ loose earlier this year along with an announcement about this accompanying eponymous EP. It’s not totally fresh, with three of the six songs having already come out in the past year or so but it’s still a pretty darn good piece of work – we could listen to ‘F*ck You All The Time’, well, all the time. The album closes on a high with Chance the Rapper joining them to spit a couple of verses on the slightly bouncy ‘The End’. Listen to the title track below:
