White House physician Sean Conley, in a memo released by the White House, said that the president and the first lady were both “well at this time” and planned to remain at the White House while they recover, WJS reported.
“The White House medical team and I will maintain a vigilant watch, and I appreciate the support provided by some of our country’s greatest medical professionals and institutions,” Conley wrote.
Over 7.3 million Americans have been infected with COVID-19, with 208k deaths in the country. Trump has allegedly been deemed to be on the side of the ‘no mask’ groups that have protested about the mandatory mask rule in some of the states.
During Wednesday’s presidential debate, Trump mocked democratic candidate Joe Biden for frequently wearing his mask. In the debate, Trump said,
“I put a mask on when I think I need it… I don’t wear masks like him [Biden]. Every time you see him he’s got a mask on. He could be speaking 200 feet away, he shows up with the biggest mask I’ve ever seen.”
