Wanna kick-start your DJ career? Here’s your chance to show the world what you’re made of. Heineken’s offering you the chance to play in front of 5,000 people on December 4 at Found @ Thirst at Godskitchen Boombox, making it this year’s most exciting DJ competition. But that’s not all, the winner will also get to collect RM10k in cash, win tix for two to an international music festival and get to host their own Heineken Green Space. All in all it’s a prize package worth over RM50k. Not bad for 20 minutes work in your bedroom.

If you’re thinking of skipping out on this opportunity – you might want to think again. Thirst’s DJ competition has some pretty impressive alumni. Found @ Thirst has helped to launch the careers of local favourites DJ Blink and Fono, even taking Blink to Taiwan to tour with Tiesto. The crowd pleasing DJ duo CosmicSpaceMunkys experienced an even bigger boost – a recording session in London with Bloc Party, Florence and the Machine and Plan B producer Paul Epworth. They also received a trip to Las Vegas to perform alongside Kanye West, Gym Class Heroes, Paul Oakenfold and Steve Aoki at the celeb-studded Tao Nightclub at the Venetian Casino.

Go to Found @ Thirst’s official website, upload your mix and get started. All you have to do is make a 20 minute audio mix and a 10-minute video mix so Heineken can see and hear your skills. If you think you might need a bit of help, the nice guys over at Mile High Sounds are offering special offers on studio time to use their equipment to record and upload your mix, as well as a special Found @ Thirst package to teach newbies all the skills they’ll need to win. So now there’s no excuse for not entering. Half the battle is already won, the rest is up to you.
