Four years after their debut album Idealism, German nu rave duo Digitalism return with their sophomore effort titled I Love You, Dude.The awful album title doesn’t reflect the album’s content as the music is interesting and not excessively drawn out. ‘2 Hearts’ is Digitalism’s first attempt at a full song and vocal track and it pays off well. It’s very catchy and you can’t help but dance and sing along to the chorus.

The Strokes’ Julian Casablanca co-wrote ‘Forrest Gump’ with Digitalism, which is another standout in the album with its blend of catchy dance pop and melodious spoken-word lyrics.
