COMA, in its years of activity, has spread its reach and name to regions such as Indonesia and Singapore. So significant is their musical footprint that they were one of the subjects of a feature story in a Singaporean daily, expounding about the genre they thrive in. Their 2014 EP Black Moon features the titular 11-minute opus that performs its duties of erecting dark walls of sound with an assaulting efficiency. It begins with a sample of a spiritual chant before it gradually slips into an abyss of industrial, clamorous noise.  Lest you get pulled too deep, clarity appears by the six-minute mark and you’re resuscitated once more.
