This short gives insight into the life of George Rocha who uses worn skateboards to create functional objects — furniture, new skateboards, or as George puts it, “Whatever your imagination comes up with” — to avoid it from being dispensed irresponsibly. Think of it like H&M’s used garment initiative, only this one involves skateboards. Beyond being eco-conscious about his work, George’s objective is to create art that has a purpose to it aside from being placed on a wall to look pretty.
